Metro-North Railroad Sets New Year's Eve Service
Don't worry: You'll be able to get home if you go to Times Square for the ball drop.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Metro-North Railroad will be able to get you around the Hudson Valley for the New Year’s holiday.
On Sunday, Dec. 31, the railroad will operate on a Sunday schedule.
There will be additional outbound service from Grand Central Terminal after midnight Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

On West of Hudson lines, additional service will run after midnight Sunday on the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines.
On New Year’s Day, Metro-North will operate on a special schedule with hourly service at most stations.
