Movie Nights at Montrose Firehouse; ‘Back to the Garden’ in Peekskill

1. Outdoor Movie Nights in Cortlandt
From the Town of Cortland Facebook Page: The Town of Cortlandt and the Cortlandt Engine Company in Montrose are hosting 2 free outdoor move nights at the Firehouse Grounds. Movies will begin at 8:30, Friday July 20 the movie is Gnomeo and Juliet and on Friday Aug 17 the movie is Charlotte’s Web. Bring your family and a blanket, Popcorn will be served. There will also be a concession stand for food and refreshments.

2. KMF Foundation Announces Debut Fundraiser

The Kathleen F. Marks Memorial Foundation announces it's first Annual Halloween Masquerade Ball Benefiting the Division of Pediatric Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. The formal charity benefit will be held on Oct. 26, 2012 at the Mansion at Colonial Terrace. Tickets go on sale on July 15 at the Peekskill Dash and Splash Biatholon.
The Kathleen F. Marks Memorial Foundation is a newly established Local Charity whose mission is to fundraise for cancer research & hosting fundraiser’s for cancer patients in financial need, hosting fundraising events to benefit areas of cancer research that are in need of funding.

3. Peekskill Summer Music Series
Catch “Back to the Garden” at the Peekskill Riverfront at 8 p.m. as part of the city’s summer music series.
