Peekskill Brewery To Hold 14th Anniversary Block Party

PEEKSKILL, NY — To celebrate 14 years in business, the Peekskill Brewery in Peekskill is throwing a block party.

There will be live music, food trucks, beer tents and activities for kids, along with vendors and artisans.

To get you in the mood for a party, there will even be a pre-event 5K run from noon to 2 p.m. Runners get a free T-shirt (for the first 100 runners) and a drink ticket. Prizes will be given for the top runners. Register online for the 5K.

The free event will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday on Water Street in Peekskill.

“We’re shutting down the block and making this the most eventful party yet!” organizers said.

Vendors will include Get Cozy, The Lounge House, Upstate of Mind, Two Knitwits, Chomp Mobile, Sola Essentials, Buff City Soap, Bonita Bella Creations, 2nd Nature Skate Shop, Bolted Lightning, Change Game and Rios Studios.

Food vendors will include Cousins Maine Lobster, Lulu’s Kitchen on Wheels, Rock N Rollz Food Truck, Homestyle Bakery and Blondery.

Parking will be available on Lower S. Water Street, Central Avenue and South Water lot, Riverfront Parking lots, Nelson Avenue and Central Avenue and street parking throughout the downtown area. Organizers are encouraging visitors to take public transit.

The Peekskill Brewery is located at 47 South Water St. in Peekskill.
