Peekskill-Cortlandt Road and Power Updates, Oct. 30
About six inches of snow has blanketed the area and caused about ten road closures.
Yesterday’s snowstorm dropped about six inches in the area and caused many trees to fall on power lines. About 5,400 Cortlandt residents and 3,400 Peekskill Con Edison customers are without power as of noon Oct. 30, according to Con Edison.
Con Edison does not have an estimated time of restoration reported on its outage map at this time.
The following streets are closed, according to town and city officials:

Cortlandt: Sprout Brook Road near the brook, Dogwood Road, roads near Mohegan Lake colony, Croton Avenue and some secondary roads
In Peekskill: the Boulevard, Hudson Avenue, Reynolds Street and possibly Crompond Road (they were working on it earlier and may be finished)
