Peekskill Police: Man Sold Methadone, Carried Heroin

Peekskill Police recently arrested a 57-year-old Pennsylvania man on drug charges, wrapping up a two-year investigation, according to officials. 

Eric Neidhardt was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for methadone, felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for heroin, a misdemeanor. He was carrying the latter at the time of the arrest, police said in a statement.

Peekskill Police Detectives Anthony Malfitano and Joseph McGann apprehended Neidhardt. The arrest occurred at about 11:40 a.m. June 11.

Neidhart—who was also charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor—was held for arraignment, pending a future appearance in court.

Peekskill Police Narcotics Division and the Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit conducted the investigation together.
