Police Arrest Suspected GameStop Robber

Peekskill police made an arrest after recognizing a man from a composite sketch completed following the GameStop burglary on Oct. 14.

Peekskill police arrested Cordell Rhoden Monday afternoon for the alleged robbery of the GameStop store in the Beach Shopping Center, which occurred on Friday, Oct. 14. Rhoden, a 23-year-old Mohegan Lake resident, was identified as a suspect after police recognized him from a composite sketch that had been completed following the incident.

Rhoden was picked up as he entered Peekskill City Court where he was to appear on an unrelated charge. He was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, and was arraigned in Peekskill City Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail. Det. Ralph D’Aliso made the arrest.
