Family dollar employee steals $9,000 worth of goods from store, Sleepy Hollow resident selling Oxycontin in Peekskill, Men abuse women, supermarket theft.

Family Dollar Employee Steals More Than $9,000 from the Store:
Russell Roberts, 45, of Peekskill, was charged with third degree grand larceny for stealing more than $9,000 from the Family Dollar Store on North Division St. where he worked, police said. On Jan. 25 at 4:35 p.m. Officers Mike Lawrence and Anthony Nappi charged Roberts, following an internal audit and investigation conducted by the Family Dollar that showed Roberts had been stealing over a period of time. Roberts was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.

Following a joint investigation of the Peekskill Police Department with the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, Sleepy Hollow resident Michael Brown, 22, was charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony, for selling Oxycontin to an undercover police officer on Jan. 28 at 11 p.m. on the 100 block of Smith St. Brown was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail. Officer Joe McGann and Detective Anthony Malfitano made the arrest.

On Jan. 25 at 12:37 p.m. William Bolton, 22, of Peekskill, was charged with 4th degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, police said. Officer Chatoyer Woodland reported that Bolton destroyed a relative’s television set after a domestic dispute at his residence on Frost Lane. Bolton was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
Assault: Man Abuses Woman:
On Jan. 29 at 5:30 a.m. Eugene Harris, 29-year-old Peekskill resident, was charged with third degree assault, police report. Officer Marchioni reported that Harris was charged following a domestic dispute in which he elbowed a female acquaintance in the face and caused her injury. He was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
Assault: Man Abuses Woman:
Perry Foy, 27-year-old Peekskill resident, was charged with third degree assault and third degree criminal trespass on Jan. 20 at 2:30 a.m., police said. Foy was charged with assaulting a female acquaintance following a domestic dispute. Further
investigation revealed that Foy had previously been prohibited from being on housing authority property leading to the trespass charge, according to arresting officer John White. Foy was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
Supermarket Theft:
Cortlandt Manor resident Jill Messina, 43, was charged with petit larceny after stealing $58 worth of food from the Stop and Shop on Main St. in Peekskill on Jan 30 at 6:25 p.m., police said. Messina was released on her own recognizance and is due to appear in Peekskill City Court on Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. to answer the charges.
