Drug Dealer sold morphine to undercover cop, Burglary, Assault, Theft, Drunk Driving

State Police Arrest Cortlandt Manor Resident for Drunk Driving
On Feb. 5 around 1 a.m., State Police in Somers arrested Cortlandt Manor resident Jonathon Oakley, 69, for driving while intoxicated. Oakley was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of New Castle and a subsequent investigation revealed he was drunk. He refused to take the breath test. Oakley was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of New Castle Court on 2/15/11 at 7:30PM.

Drug Dealer Arrested:
Following a four-month investigation into the illegal sale of controlled substances conducted jointly by the Peekskill police and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Anthony McDonough, 42, of Peekskill, was arrested for possessing and selling morphine and possessing Oxycodone upon arrest on Feb. 7 at 11:30 p.m., police report.

Detective Anthony Malfitano and Officer Joe McGann reported that on several occasions McDonough sold morphine to an undercover police officer. He was additionally charged after being found with a quantity of Oxycodone upon his arrest.
McDonough’s charges include: two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Third Degree, a class B felony; one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Seventh Degree, a misdemeanor; and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree a class B felony.
He is being held without bail pending his arraignment in Peekskill City Court on 2/8/2011.
Stolen Checkbook and Money
On Feb. 7 Wilfred Incle, 39, of Peekskill, was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, police reported. An investigation by Det. Bennett into the theft of $850 from a Peekskill resident’s checking account led the detective to Incle. The victim noticed money was missing, and that the checkbook was missing and learned that Incle had cashed the $850 worth of checks at a check cashing establishment in Peekskill.
Det. Bennett indentified the individual and arrested him after locating him on N. Division St. It is unclear if Incle actually stole the checkbook, police said. Incle was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
Assault
Nathanial Tisdell, 24, of Peekskill was charged with first degree burglary, fourth degree criminal mischief, third degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a minor on Feb. 6 at 6:25 a.m. at the Waterview Estates on Franklin St., police said.
Tisdell was charged folling a violent domestic dispute in which he forcibly entered the victim’s apartment by kicking in the door and then violently assaulted her in front of her child. Tisdell was held for arraignment without bail in Peekskill City Court.
Serving Alcohol to Minor:
Romulo Chavez, a 51-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident was charged with serving alcohol to a minor and maintaining a disorderly premise at El Gran Latino Bar at 300 Highland Ave.
Officers conducting a routine “bar check” found an underage female drinking alcohol in the bar. The arresting officer was Fabian Gonzalez.
Burglary
On Feb. 4 at 2:18 p.m. Woodridge resident Carmine DeCostanzo, 23, was charged with second degree burglary following an investigation into the burglary of a Lincoln Terrace residence in Peekskill, police report.
On Dec. 3, 2010 Det. Todd Gallaher developed DeCostanzo as a suspect. With assistance from New York State Police and Carmel Police, DeCostanzo was located and taken into custody at his residence on Thunder Hill Rd. in Woodridge, NY. Det. Gallaher recovered numerous items that had been stolen from the Lincoln Terrace residence, including a shotgun and several electronic items. DeCostanzo was held without bail pending his arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
