Police: Peekskill Man Arrested for Selling Heroin
The following was provided by the Peekskill Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 23-year-old Peekskill man was charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B Felony, on July 10 at 8:45 p.m. on Highland Avenue.
Police say they observed the defendant, Marquis Roberson, who had an active warrant charging him with resisting arrest, as a passenger in a vehicle on Highland Ave. Officer Basso stopped the vehicle and took Roberson into custody without incident. Det. McGann, after learning Roberson was in custody, filed additional charges against him, closing out a seven-month investigation conducted jointly between the Peekskill Police Narcotics Unit and the New York State Police. During this investigation, Roberson sold heroin to an undercover police officer on several occasions, police said. Roberson was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
