VIDEO: Police Search for Suspect in Peekskill Chase Robbery

The Chase at 1825 E. Main Street was robbed around 11 a.m. Friday.

UPDATE, Nov. 4 at 1:55 p.m.: Peekskill Police have released photos of the suspect in this morning bank robbery at the Chase Bank at 1825 E. Main St.  The suspect is described as a black male, thin build approximately 5’10” to 6’3” tall with long dreadlocks.   Suspect may have fled the scene in a dark colored four door vehicle with damage to the front passenger side.

Posted Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. Police are searching for a suspect who robbed Chase bank at 1825 E. Main Street around 11 a.m. today. No one was injured and police would not comment on if the male suspect was armed.

The man took an unknown amount of money from the bank, left through the front door and then is believed to have fled through the back parking lot, Peekskill Police Lieutenant Eric Johansen said.

Peekskill police, along with New York State and County police, are searching for the suspect, a black male believed to be about six feet to six foot three inches tall with a thin build.

Aviation and K-9 units are on the scene.
