Produce Tour at C-Town; Super Hero Camp; Lakeland BOE Organizational Meeting
Five things you need to know today, July 12.

1. Produce Tour at C-Town Today
Hudson River HealthCare is hosting two produce tours at C-Town today and on Aug. 16 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The tours aim to teach residents food tips and how to save money and will include a food demonstration at the Farmer’s Market. Participants will receive a free grocery gift card for produce only, compliments of Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill. For more information call 914-261-6179.
The program, Shop Smart – Eat Well, is brought to you by Project HOPE, a faith based health promotion project lead by Hudson River HealthCare in partnership with Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill, Inc. (CHOP) & Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, with funding provided by the Westchester Community Foundation.

3. Town of Cortlandt Super Hero Camp
From the Town of Cortlandt Facebook page: Back by popular demand – Super Hero Camp! Join forces with Spirit Unlimited to expand your child’s imagination and help them become the ultimate Super Hero…with just 3 spots left, this camp is favorite among children ages 4-7 years old. Scheduled to take place from July 30th through August 3rd at the Cortlandt Youth and Recreation Center from 9:00am – 12:00pm – these spots won’t last long. 4. Lakeland Board of Education Organizational Meeting
The Lakeland Board of Education will hold its annual Organizational Meeting on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakeland Administration Building, 1086 East Main Street, Shrub Oak.
