Puppies, Puppies, Puppies Employee Arrested for Burglary of the Store
A Mohegan Lake man was arrested for allegedly stealing from his employer.

The following information was provided by the New York State Police. It does not indicate a conviction.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, the New York State Police at Cortlandt received the report of a burglary in progress at the Puppies, Puppies, Puppies store located on 3144 East Main St., Cortlandt.Â
An employee from a neighboring business observed Jason M. Valdes, 19, of Mohegan Lake, leaving the pet store long after the close of business and contacted police. Â

The responding troopers determined that Valdes, a store em3144 East Main St., Cortlandtployee, forced entry into the business and stole $648 from the cash register. He was charged with Burglary in the third degree (class D Felony) and arraigned in the town of Cortlandt Court this morning, Sept. 19, where upon he was released on his own recognizance to reappear in Cortlandt Court on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m.
