Sen. Ball in Peekskill, Hispanic Heritage Month Proclaimed, Stop 'N Swap
Five things you need to know today, Sept. 19.

1.   Sen. Greg Ball Visits Peekskill
As part of his Town Hall Tour NY Sen. Greg Ball will give the Peekskill City Council a presentation at their Committee of the Whole meeting in the Schwerman Conference room at 6:30 p.m. He will then meet with constituents.
2. Cortlandt Work Session
 The Cortlandt Town board will hold a work session at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
3. Hispanic Heritage Month
Westchester County officials will proclaim September Hispanic Heritage month today in order to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals within the community and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture.
On Saturday, Sept. 24 Buchanan will host Family Fun Day at the Buchanan Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day will offer vendors, entertainment, activities, a bounce house, and a Birds of Prey show at noon.
4.   Cortlandt Stop ‘n Swap Sept. 24
Start cleaning out your closets and lugging the old toy chests out from the basement now, because this Saturday you can donate it all away at Cortlandt’s Stop ‘n Swap. Read more .
