From the Peekskill City Clerk: A special meeting of the Common Council has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m., in the Paul Schwerman conference room, for the purpose of discussing current litigation and personnel.

The BCC 9/11 Rememberance Committee needs more money to get their memorial started. They were unable to fund raise the thousands they need to have the memorial in place by the tenth anniversary of Sept. 11, and have turned to municipalities for help. Should the Town of Cortlandt commit $15,000 of taxpayer money towards the project?

 4. Happy Summer Solstice

At 7:09 p.m. the Northern summer solstice will begin. This is when the sun will arrive at its northernmost point in the sky, marking the official beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

 5. Peekskill Senior Awards Ceremony

The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at the Paramount Center for the Arts.
