Sketch of Man Wanted for GameStop Robbery

Peekskill Police are looking for a man who they believe robbed the store in the Beach Shopping Center at about 10:05 a.m. Friday, October 14. The subject was armed with a knife and is described as a black male, thin build, around 6’ to 6’3 inches tall. He was described to be in his late teens or early 20’s.

The men held the female clerk at knifepoint and brought her to the backroom where he stole several video game systems and then fled the scene, Police Lietenatn Eric Johansen said.

Peekskill Police responded and received assistance from the New York State Police and County police who provided bloodhounds. The NYSP also provided aviation assistance. 

“The sweatshirt he was wearing was very distinct,” Johansen said. “it said Ralph Lauren in print across the chest. So we are asking anyone that knows someone who has a sweatshirt like that and resembles the man in the sketch to give us a call."
