The Rockettes to Visit Peekskill’s Dance Expression and Cortlandt’s Dream Cakes

This Thursday, the Radio City Rockettes will visit Peekskill’s Dance Expression Dance Studio to teach a master dance class and partake in a Q&A with the aspiring dancers. The studio won the visit from the world-famous dancers through a Facebook contest in which fans nationwide voted for their favorite dance school.

The visit is part of the Rockettes publicity tour as they gear up for the Christmas Spectacular season.

Dream Cakes Bakery in Peekskill will also be entering a Facebook competition with a specially made Radio City Christmas Spectacular themed cake. Fans of the Christmas Spectacular Facebook page will vote for the best cake creation. Whichever local bakery is voted the best will win free tickets for local dancers to attend the show. The Rockettes will stop by the Bakery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday to taste the cake before heading to Dance Expression at 4 p.m.

The 2011 production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, runs Nov. 11 through Jan. 2. Tickest are on sale now.
