Three Percent of Cortlandt Still Powerless

Storm update from Cortlandt Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi.

About 400 homes, three percent of the Town of Cortlandt, are still without power, says Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi. Town crews are clearing trees, limbs and brush, but Con Edison still needs to address the wires before the town can do the tree work, Puglisi said.

The Supervisor urges residents to continue to call ConEdison to report outages, as they are spread throughout the town.

The warming shelter at the Communtiy Center is now closed. For other open shelters visit the county website.

“This is a NYSDOT highway area, but we continue to tell this problem to Con Edison officials.”
