Travel Advisory: Bear Mountain Parkway Ramp Closures Expected
Motorists should follow the signed detour and anticipate delays on the listed sections of Bear Mountain Parkway on April 19.

From the New York State Department of Transportation: Motorists are advised that the eastbound ramps to and from the Bear Mountain Parkway at Division Street are expected to be closed on Wednesday, April 19, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., while crews perform utility work, weather permitting.
Motorists should follow the signed detour and anticipate delays.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
