Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill, Inc. has a one in five chance at winning a Toyota Higlander today, and you can make that happen.
CHOP is one of 500 finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good contest, which pits five non-profits against each other each day for 100 days. The non-profit that gets the most vote each day wins.

Voting starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. To vote, go to www.100carsforgood.com log in to Facebook at the top of the page and VOTE FOR CHOP!

Come visit Ad Manager Gina DeBonis and me at from 8 to 9 p.m. for “Patch Night,” and to help support a good cause. Phil Alexander and Jack Spencer will guest bartend from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tips and 10 percent of bar sales will be donated in their names to Fred’s Pantry.

3. Happy Father’s Day
To all the dads out there, Peekskill-Cortlandt Patch wishes you a great Father’s Day. We interview many of you every day and know there are so many hard working and caring family men out there. Enjoy your day.
4. Juneteenth
If you don’t know by now, you haven’t been reading Patch all week. Juneteenth is this Saturday. Commemorate the day Texas slaves found out slavery had been abolished and honor the significance of black and American history in this community.
