Hudson River Roads Affected By Dense Morning Fog

It should lift mid- to late morning, the National Weather Service says.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Dense fog across the region has caused difficult conditions on many Hudson River roads and bridges.

511 NY reported a crash on I-95 near Exit 16 at 9:10 a.m., stop-and-go traffic and lanes closed.

There was a crash on I-287 westbound near Exit 4 at 8:43 a.m., 511NY reported.

Dense fog was making travel slow, though all lanes were open on the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, Mid Hudson Bridge and Bear Mountain Bridge.

The fog advisory runs until 10 a.m. for Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties and until 11 a.m. for Dutchess and Ulster counties.
