Winter Weather Alert Issued for Peekskill-Cortlandt
Be prepared for a possible four to eight inches Saturday. Are you ready? Take our poll.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather alert for the lower Hudson Valley. It is in effect from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. Accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are possible. A mix of light snow and rain will begin Saturday morning and then change to all snow in the afternoon.
The snow could affect driving conditions and possibly cause power outages if tree limbs fall due to heavy wet snow.
