Lane Closures On The Hutchinson Parkway Through May 10

Communities affected: Eastchester, Harrison, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Pelham, Rye Brook, Scarsdale

Various single and double lane closures are anticipated in the daytime for portions of the Hutchinson River Parkway, between Exit 7 and Exit 30, on weekdays beginning Monday through May 10. The work will take place across a wide section of Westchester: Towns of Scarsdale and Harrison; Villages of Rye Brook, Pelham, and Eastchester; and Cities of New Rochelle and Mount Vernon.

Crews will perform construction activities, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Double lane closures are anticipated to last less than 20 minutes.

Expect delays. Use caution when traveling through the work zone area between North Avenue and King Street and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
