The order, now in effect through March 2026 unless extended, allows searches and sets up a full hearing next spring, while the student’s attorney challenges use of school records and seeks added privacy protections.
   

• Pelham Rotary Club recognizes Ella Stephens and Caitlin Brant as scholars of the month for December (pelhamexaminer.com) — Two Pelham Memorial High School seniors, Ella Stephens and Caitlin Brant, have been named December Marilyn Stiefvater Scholars of the Month by the Rotary Club of the Pelhams. Both students are deeply involved in PMHS academics, arts, athletics, and community service, and the club also highlighted its $20,000 scholarship available to Pelham seniors this spring.
   

• DeAngelis decries online speculation that alleged robber did not live in Pelham; says communications ‘bordered on threats to students' (pelhamexaminer.com) — Pelham’s Board of Education president and superintendent pushed back against online speculation about a PMHS student’s residency and stressed that threatening messages to the district are being taken very seriously. They outlined how Pelham enforces residency rules, described safety protocols, and updated families on efforts to keep campuses secure while respecting student privacy.
