PELHAM, NY — Pelham school district officials have decided to avoid the flash freeze forecast for Friday afternoon.
Due to the forecast for heavy rain, high winds and plummeting temperatures throughout the region during the afternoon commute and the likely impact on travel in advance of the holiday, the Pelham Public Schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. Friday.
