Shoulder Closures On The Parkway In Pelham, Mount Vernon

A daytime shoulder closure is expected on the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound and southbound, at Exit 12 (East Lincoln Avenue), Aug. 5 - 29. The construction work will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
