One Town, One Book: There will be a dramatic presentation of "Wonder," this year's selection in the Town of oyster Bay's "One Town, One Book" program at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library. The event is being held at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Seniorobics: This exercise class meets at the library at 10 a.m.
Blood Drive: The Town of Oyster Bay will hold a Blood Drive at several locations Thursday. Blood can be donated at the Town Hall South Conference Room, 977 Hicksville Road, Massapequa (9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.); Town Hall North at the Blood Mobile, 54 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.); Hicksville Athletic Center, 167 Broadway/Route 107, Hicksville (2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.); and the Department of Public Works War Room (Highway), 150 Miller Place (11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). To qualify as a blood donor, a person must between the ages of 17 and 75 years old. Or 16 with parental permission and 76 or older with a doctor’s note. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and not have donated blood within the last 56 days.
Senior Program: There will be an aquatic class at Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park as well as classes at Syosset Woodbury Community Park at 10 a.m., 11a.m., 11:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Concert: It's '80s night at "Music Under the Stars." as "Rubix Cube" and Lisa Lisa perform at Ellsworth W. Allen Town Park in Farmingdale.
