4th Of July Parade In Nassau: See Tanks, Armored Cars
As fireworks shows across Long Island are canceled, people can see a parade of military vehicles. Masks and social distancing are required.
OLD BETHPAGE, NY — Those searching for Fourth of July celebrations just got some welcome news — an Independence Day parade is planned in Old Bethpage, with vintage Sherman tanks, Hellcats, armored cars and more set to roll into Old Bethpage.
Families are invited to watch a parade of American military vehicles on the holiday at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration parking lot. Guests must remain with their cars and say socially distanced. Tickets are $25 per vehicle and will not be sold at the gate — all sales must be pre-ordered in advance.
Spaces are limited. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. July 4 so attendees can get to their vehicles' designated parking spot before the parade begins. All ticket-holders must be in their spots before 10:15 a.m. No entry will be allowed after 10:15 a.m., organizers said.
