Throughout my college career, I was able to manage time to complete my rigorous college courses. While doing all my school work I was able to work my first EMS job at Emergency Ambulance Services in Freeport in 2020 during Covid-19, and join my local Fire Department as well. After that, 2021 I was offered, accepted, and currently still 3 years later work for Northwell Plainview Hospital as a Hyperbaric Technician. 2022 school year, I was able to help babysit a local family who I had the pleasure of working with to help there 2 boys get ready for school in the morning, work for Plainview Hospital, go to school, and volunteer for the Plainview Fire Department as a EMT. Summer of 2022, my friend Mike and I were able to use our knowledge and skills from EMT to help save the life of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle by Lido Beach while we were leaving the beach to go home after spending the day in the sun relaxing. Continuing on, Summer of 2023 I was still volunteering for the fire department, working for Plainview Hospital (now per diem), college studies, and got hired working as a EMT for the Town Of Oyster Bay Public Safety Department for TOBAY beach. October of 2023, I also added a job at the Jericho Fire Department. November of 2023, I accepted a offer from the Town of Oyster Bay Public Safety to work as a Security Guard Officer in which entailed me to get my security guard license and NYS fingerprinting. All these accolades have been accomplished through self motivation, and family advice. May 2024, I am proud to say I have worked for Emergency Ambulance Services, volunteer at Plainview Fire Department (resigned 2024), work for Life Support Technology at Northwell Plainview Hospital (still work), babysit, Town of Oyster Bay EMT (still work), Jericho Fire Department EMT (still work), and now a TOB Public Safety Officer (still work) and best of all a Farmingdale State College 2024 Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice- Police, Courts, and Corrections and Associates in Criminal Justice- Law Enforcement graduate! Looking forward to seeing what the future holds!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

A very hard worker who always sees the best in people. I will go above and beyond to make someone’s day easier while being able to handle pressure during my busy schedule. My best skill would definitely be me being a “go getter”. Keeps my mind busy, me busy, and being busy and constantly moving teaches me new things everyday.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Bradley Drebsky!
