
Nassau County Police have reopened the eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway after an accident injured an unknown number of drivers.
At 11:25 a.m. Thursday, police closed all lanes of the eastbound LIE between Exits 43 and 44 after a car accident, according to reports.
Cops said the accident resulted in a number of injuries, but couldn't be more specific.
As of 2:30 p.m., all lanes were reportedly reopened.
