Man Sent Fake Bombs To Woman, 19, In Nassau County: Police
The false bombs contained ammonium nitrate, a radioactive uranium ore sample and a pressure cooker containing thumbtacks, police say.

A man was arrested on Thursday for sending fake bombs to a 19-year-old Plainview woman on three separate occasions in November 2017, police say.
According to authorities, James Dickerson, 22, of North Charleston, South Carolina, had false bombs containing ammonium nitrate, a radioactive uranium ore sample and a pressure cooker containing thumbtacks delivered to the woman between November 17 and 20. Dickerson had contact with the woman over a period of time through the internet, police say.
Dickerson, following an investigation, was extradited to Nassau County from Charleston County, South Carolina. He was charged with three counts of placing a false bomb or hazardous substance, second-degree harassment and first-degree harassment.

He will be arraigned on Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
