1. The Plainview Library offers "The Most Beautiful and Unusual Cars Ever Built," a new program hosted by former automotive stylist Roy Jaffe. Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
2. Temple Chaverim on Washington Avenue offers its Jewish Meditation and Spirituality class Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The program incorporates breathing techniques, guided imagery meditation and Jewish spiritual discussions.
