P-OB Middle School Hosts Spelling Bee
Esther Kang to Represent Plainview at Scripps LI Regional Competition
Forty Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School students recently participated in the school’s annual spelling bee competition.
The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students competed in the school-wide event after winning their individual English Language Arts classroom spelling bees.
Eighth grade student Esther Kang was crowned the winner and will represent P-OB Middle School at the Scripps Long Island Regional Championship held at Hofstra University.
Eighth grade student Priyanka Gera was awarded as the competition’s runner-up.
