Police: Teen Robbed at Knifepoint While Skateboarding
15-year-old punched in Plainview.

A 15-year-old boy who was skateboarding on a path near the Plainview Business Complex was jumped by three robbers over the weekend, cops said.
The victim was riding his skateboard on a path between Old Country Road and Round Swamp Road at 3:30 p.m. Saturday near the Complex located at 1425 Old Country Road.
He was approached by the three robbers, who were in a white Ford van. They got out and demanded money. When the victim refused, one of the robbers punched him in the face, according to police. Another produced a knife and the victim handed over an iPhone, two necklaces and cash.
The victim met his mother and called police. He refused medical attention.
Police describe the man who bunched the victim as a 20-year-old Hispanic man about 6-feet 1 inches tall, 170 pounds with black hair and a black shirt.
The robber with the knife was described as a 17-year-old hispanic male about 5-feet-8, 140 pounds and wearing a white shirt.
The third robber was also a 17-year-old Hispanic male who was 5-feet-9, 140 pounds and wearing a white shirt. He drove the van getaway van which had old style New York Statue of Liberty plates eat n Old Country Road, police said.
