Synagogue Offering Vital Program That Can Save a Life
Manetto Hill Jewish Center to present program Wednesday on NARCAN, designed to target young people.

The Manetto Hill Jewish Center is offering a vital program to the community on how to recognize and prevent an overdose.
The program, slated for Wednesday, will teach community members how administering the overdose-reversal agent called Naloxone or Narcan. The drug has saved numerous lives in Suffolk County, where first responders have been trained and equipped with the it.
The Plainview training is targeted to college-aged students 18 and older. The program is open to the entire community.
The potentially life-saving training will be conducted by Felicia Schneberg at the Manetto Hill Jewish Center, at 244 Manetto Hill Road, Plainview
It is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 from 8:30 -10 p.m.
