Town Of Oyster Bay Residents Can Enjoy Free Library Concerts

OYSTER BAY, NY — Town of Oyster Bay residents can enjoy free winter musical performances at local libraries.

The Distinguished Artists Concert Series provides a variety of music and dance shows.

  • Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library hosts Dean Karahalis & The NY Brass Quintet on Saturday, February 1 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are available starting Jan. 20.
  • Jericho Public Library hosts the Gypsy Felons, who perform music from the 1960s and 1970s, on Sunday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets available beginning on Jan. 15.
  • At the Massapequa Public Library, Alexander Wu & His Trio— highlight three centuries of the African Diaspora and the vast contributions to music by both Africans and the descendants of enslaved Africans from around the world. It takes place on Feb 8 at 2 p.m.

"I encourage residents to take advantage of these wonderful performances offered by the Town for free at local libraries," said Councilman Lou Imbroto.
