Briarcliff Kindergartners Show Gratitude at Thanksgiving Feast
Students learned about the first Thanksgiving and then enjoyed a traditional meal.
From Syntax: Todd Elementary School’s kindergarten students enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 22 with offerings including turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread and cranberries during the school’s annual feast.
Students donned Pilgrim and Native American hats and headbands to signify the meeting and friendship between the two groups at the first Thanksgiving. Before enjoying the delectable meal, kindergartners took a moment to thank the parents who organized the feast.
