Everything You Need To Know About Kindergarten Registration in Briarcliff Manor

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY—Parents registering their children for kindergarten in Briarcliff Manor School District will need some documents on hand. If your child is eligible for enrollment in Todd Elementary School, here's what you need to know.

New York State law requires that all incoming kindergarten students have a physical and a dental health exam before entering school. Parents must supply a certificate stamped by a doctor, physician's assistant or nurse practitioner describing the student's physical condition. A current immunization record or proof of exemption must also be submitted.

Parents should provide their child's birth certificate to prove the child's age. To prove the guardian's identity, a valid, government-issued driver or non-driver ID card can be presented. If applicable, produce proof of guardianship. Proof of residency is required and could include a tax bill, driver's license, utility bill, paycheck stub or tax return, among other items.
