The man wanted in connection with the robbery of a TD Bank branch in Jefferson Valley late Monday afternoon has been caught, Yorktown Police said today.

Police received an anonymous tip, which resulted in the arrest of Mark A. Sindaco, a 33-year-old Yorktown resident. He was arrested this morning* at approximately 10:10 a.m. and was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, Yorktown Police Lt. Kevin Soravilla said in a press release.

Police said Sindaco went into the bank on December 3 at about 4:50 p.m. and passed a handwritten note to the bank teller threatening he had a handgun and demanding money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
