HUDSON VALLEY, NY — New York State Police say that four suspects have been arrested following a commercial burglary and vehicle pursuit that began in Dutchess County and ended in Westchester County.

Around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dutchess County 911 reported a commercial burglary taking place in the Town of Pleasant Valley. Units responding to the scene identified a stolen black Porsche as the suspect vehicle.

State police found the Porsche in the Town of East Fishkill on the Taconic State Parkway, and attempted a traffic stop. However, the vehicle fled southbound at high speed.

Due to safety concerns and the loss of visual contact, troopers decided to terminate the pursuit.

At 2:16 a.m., troopers from SP Hawthorne saw the suspect Porsche and were able to deploy a "stinger" tire-spike device to disable it. Despite this, the vehicle continued traveling south before being found at the Exit 6 off-ramp.

They said that out of an abundance of caution, they then swept the area of the schools. The Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District was on a two-hour delay Tuesday morning due to the police activity.
