Pleasantville Firefighter Parade: Timing, Street Closures
It's welcome back after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The Pleasantville Firefighters Parade returns after a 2-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It starts at 7 p.m. — but the village will begin closing roads on and around the route as early as 5 p.m.
Here are the roads that will be closed Friday afternoon for the parade:
- Manville Rd between Great Oak Ln and Grant St: 5:30pm to 9pm
- Washington Ave between Manville Rd and Edgewood Ave: 4pm to 12am
- Edgewood Ave between Washington Ave and Great Oak Ln: 5:30pm to 9pm
- Grove St between Manville Rd and Edgewood Ave: 5:30pm to 9pm
- Memorial Plaza between Bedford Rd and Manville Rd: 5pm to 9pm
- Bedford Rd between Clark St and Marble Ave: 5:30pm to 9pm
The parade steps off at 7 p.m. in front of the Pleasantville Library. It will proceed down Bedford Road, through Memorial Plaza, up Manville Road to Grove Street, then down Edgewood Avenue to the Washington Avenue firehouse.
