Pleasantville Music Festival To Begin Ticket, Tent Site Sales

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — It's back! July 9! Discounted admission tickets for the 16th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival will go on sale beginning Tuesday, and spots in the event's coveted Tent City section will go on sale April 2.

Known as New York’s Backyard Jam, the festival had been a must-attend, family-friendly summer event before the coronavirus pandemic shut it down two years in a row. The festival takes place on the village's Parkway Field and features great local food and drink, a warm positive vibe, and of course, world-class rock.

Discounted ticket prices will only be in effect until the lineup is announced, and that will be soon. These are discounted pre-sale tickets priced at $50 for adults and $30 for Seniors (65+)/Students (12-21). (Kids aged 11 and under will be admitted free with an adult.)

Tickets will be available online through TicketWeb or through the festival's website. Online sales will incur ticketing fees.

Tickets can be also purchased in person at the Pleasantville Recreation Center offices at 48 Marble Ave. Their hours are M-F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and they will accept cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.

For those interested in a spot in the event's coveted Tent City section this year, sites will go on sale for the first time April 2.

A word to the wise; In past years, Tent City sites have sold out in under an hour.

This initial Tent City Sale will take place on the second floor of Pleasantville Village Hall, at 80 Wheeler Avenue. Doors will open at 8 a.m. with the sale beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending by noon (or when all of the sites are sold).

Those arriving before 8 a.m. will be required to line up in an orderly fashion around the building down Bedford Road until the doors open.

Prices for tent spaces this year range from $75 to $100, and do not include admission to the festival. Admission tickets will also be available at the Tent City sale. Payment may be by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), cash, or check (made out to the Village of Pleasantville). There is a maximum of 2 tent spaces per adult (18+). Purchasers must provide their own tents, maximum size 10' x 10' — and tent weights will be required.
