Pleasantville To Vote For Mayor, Trustees

Polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Voters in Pleasantville will be going to the polls Tuesday to elect a mayor and two trustees.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Recreation Center, 48 Marble Ave., Hayes Hose Firehouse, 134 Bedford Road, and Emanuel Lutheran Church, 197 Manville Road.

Incumbent Mayor Peter Scherer is running on the Village Party line for another three-year term. He is unopposed.

There are three candidates vying for two three-year trustee terms. They are:

  • Francesca Hagadus-McHale, Good Government Party
  • David Vinjamuri, incumbent, Villagers for Pleasantville
  • Yemi Healy Pleasantville’s Voice
