Protesters In Briarcliff Manor Blast Trump Over Golf Club Taxes

Protesters call on Ossining town officials to take a firm stand against Trump over tax-assessment dispute, according to The Journal News.

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY - Demonstrators gathered in downtown Briarcliff Manor on Wednesday to demand that Ossining town officials fight a legal attempt by President Donald Trump's real-estate company to get a lower property tax bill on its local golf club, according to The Journal News.

The demonstration involved about 350 marchers near Trump National Golf Club Westchester, which is in Briarcliff Manor, the paper reported.

Briarcliff Manor, which is a village, is mostly situated in the Town of Ossining. The village relies on the town government to handle property tax assessment duties.
