WSJ: Pleasantville A Pedestrian-Friendly Town

Wall Street Journal cites Pleasantville's vibrant downtown and and proximity to NYC as pluses for living in Pleasantville.

The Wall Street Journal reports Pleasantville's thriving downtown, pedestrian-friendly business district, farmers' market and music festival are attractive to residents and bring visitors from nearby towns.

"You can walk around town, stop in from merchant to merchant and say hello. You really get to know everybody because it is a small town," Chamber of Commerce President and Business Person of the Year Bill Flooks told the newspaper.

In January, Houlihan Lawrence broker Margaret Atkinson cited $506,250 as the median home price in the village.
