Pleasantville town officials reminded families that the project, which started in November, ends Dec. 14. Here's how to send a letter to Santa for the 2022 Christmas season: Address your letter to "Santa Claus, North Pole" — no postage needed.

Drop the letter off at the Police Department on Wheeler Avenue or the Recreation Department, 48 Marble Ave. Saint Nick will answer all letters that have a return address on the envelope.

The elves at the North Pole have added three special mailboxes in Briarcliff to get those letters to Santa quicker …. one each at the Briarcliff Post Office, the Briarcliff Manor Library and the Recreation office.
Children in the village and the school district will get a personalized letter from Santa as long as they are received no later than Dec. 13, when the elves will come and take the mailboxes back to the North Pole with them, village officials said.
