The Rye Ridge Shopping Center will soon have the first premium all American-made boutique in Westchseter County.
Domestic Dry Goods is a concept created by Erin Hinchey, who is also the leasing agent for the shopping center, they announced in a release this week.
“I had been looking for the ‘right’ home and gift store for some time,” Hinchey said. “I had such a precise idea of what I wanted – I decided to do it myself. Then I decided to take it a step further and only feature products that are made in America by American companies, as I believe, and research has shown, that most people would rather support American companies, they just don’t know how to do so. Obviously as the Leasing Agent for the complex for the last 7 years, there was no question as to where the store would be located.“

Hinchey plans to open the shop in August.
The shop will have a distinct “Brooklyn edge” with most merchandise coming from that borough. They will carry home goods, food and gift items that cannot be found anywhere else in Westchester and offer custom designed, limited edition exclusive merchandise. Most items will be under $100
