Toddler Falls Into Gap at Port Chester Train Station

A three-year-old girl fell into the gap between the train and the platform at the Port Chester train station around 10 a.m. Tuesday, police said. The girl, a Bridgeport, Ct. resident, skinned her knee and banged her head and was transferred to Greenwich hospital.

A man immediately pulled the girl out of the gap but then left, Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

The mother was with the child but also had luggage and another small child with her, police said.
