As students settled back into the routines of the 2022-23 school year, Christina Marino’s sixth grade class at Port Jefferson Middle School had some fun meeting new classmates. The students played “Get to Know You Jenga” a way to unite them through play, learn the importance of patience and enhance their decision-making skills.

“It’s our first year together so it was great to hear about them and their likes and dislikes,” Marino said. “They really enjoyed incorporating a familiar game inside the classroom.”
