Suspect Sought In Swipe Of Surveillance Camera From Counseling Center In Port Jefferson Station: Police

It happened at around 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 22, Suffolk police say.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect they say swiped a surveillance camera from outside of a social services center in Port Jefferson Station on Dec. 22.

A man swiped the camera from Sunshine Prevention Center on Boyle Road at around 9:15 a.m., police said.

In a photo pulled from security footage, the man can be seen wearing eyeglasses and a dark hooded jacket.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
