Cops: Driver Arrested For DWI After Hitting 3 Parked Cars

A Port Jefferson woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Thursday after she allegedly struck three parked cars and a pole in Port Jefferson in the early morning hours, according to police.

Danielle Baete, 34, of Port Jefferson, was arrested on Thursday morning and charged with DWI after allegedly hitting the cars and a pole on Sheep Pasture Road in a 2011 Audi. Police say that a 911 caller reported the incident.

One resident told Patch by email that the car Baete was driving fled the scene on Sheep Pasture Road but left a trail of fluid leading down Dark Hollow Road.

Police confirm that Baete was arrested at her home.
